GARNER, Edward J. - Putnam

Edward J. Garner, 78 of Bull Shoals died Saturday at the Bull Shoals Community Hospital. A retired salesman for the Hahn Hardware Company, he moved to Marion County from Remington, Ind. Born Feb 2, 1905, in Indiana, Mr. Garner was the son of Merlin and Jesse Vanlandingham Garner. He was married to the former Jeannette LaMarsh Nov 27, 1946. Survivors include his wife and a son, Edward Garner, Jr both of Bull Shoals; a daughter, Patricia Garner of Albuquerque, NM; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Cremation was under the direction of the Burns Funeral Home of Yellville. – kbz
